Right on track
So our little Mya had her 4 month wellness check with her pediatrician and I am happy to announce that she is not over-weight! She is now almost 16 lbs. and about 25 inches. Her head circumference is a little big, but that's okay, she takes after Franny. She was so brave when she got her 4 shots. Franny had a smile on his face while she was wailing. I told him to stop it. I know, I know...even when she cries she looks so adorable.
She loves to grab even more now and will actually move her hands in the direction of objects. She likes tummy time, especially when she holds her upper body up with her hands/arms. She loves to put ANYTHING in her mouth. She especially likes to take her pacifier out of her mouth, look at it for a few seconds, and then toss it away. Then guess what? She wants it in her mouth again. She also enjoys holdin her bottle by herself. She will drink for awhile, take it out, put it back in, and repeat the vicious cycle until one of us has to hold it in there so she can finish her food.
She has been enjoying her newest toy from her Auntie Jenn and Uncle Ken...her jumperoo. She still hasn't completely gotten the hang of "jumping", but she's getting there. She has so many toys, it's taking over the downstairs.
And we are happy to announce that Mya's little brother/sister is doing well. We heard the heartbeat last week with a Doppler. So exciting. Mommy couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift.
Last week Mya went to her cousin, Eliza's, first birthday. Eliza looked so cute in her birthday outfit. And Mya had so much fun playing with her cousins and looking around! She even took a carcicature photo with her cousin, Charlize.
